Update on Family

Most of you already know about my Dad and brother James being in the hospital. Here's the latest...
My Dad had an operation earlier this week on some hernias that he had. It was a pretty big operation seeing as he had to have an 8 inch insition. He just got home today, and is expected to recover in about 6 weeks.
My brother James is serving his mission in Chile. He's been in and out of the hospital for the past 1 1/2 months. He's been suffering from an infection (possibly ameba) that he has gotten from the water/food. He is very very sick! The latest word is that he needs to come home for a time to recover from this illness. The problem is that he is too sick to travel and is going to have to make some improvements before he will be allowed to come home. My Mother and brother Aaron will be traveling to Chile probably sometime this next week to go get him and bring him home.
I'll try and keep the updates coming! Thanks for all the prayers and support!!!

Latest Digi-Scraps

I can't take ALL of the credit for the designs! I must admit... I'm really good at looking at someone else's pages and making mine look similar. But that's okay, I'm still happy with them! I'm not the only one guilty of that right?

It's hard to Believe he's in Preschool

Tate started preschool on Tuesday!

I can hardly believe that he's 3, and old enough to go! He had a great time his first day and was so happy afterwards.They said he did "okay", and he came home with a green sticker in his folder. Meaning he showed Awesome Behavior!

Green=Awesome
Yellow=Good, but more warnings than usual
Red=Needs to Improve
Later that day, Tate decorated his face with green stickers all over it!
The second day of preschool, he got a yellow sticker in his folder. Tate told me that his teachers put him in time out because he was poking a little boy and because he didn't sit down when they asked him to. At least he knows what it is he's doing wrong. He literally cried all the way home, because he wanted a green sticker! We'll see how it goes this next week.
On a side note:
I've been told a lot lately that I'm a "softy" when it comes to disciplining. So... I've made some new rules and I'm totally sticking to them. NO MORE MRS. NICE MOM!

Photoshop Digital Scrapbookin'

I'm finally getting the hang of this digital scrapbooking thing! Here are my first two pages. Does anyone else do this? I need some ideas!

I'm excited because this is a really cheap alternative to doing "regular" scrapbooking which I've never been really good at anyways! I made both of these for $0!

Does anyone know of the best place to get them printed at?

Tate managed to lock our whole family in his bedroom tonight!

We were having a game night in his room and didn't realize that he had even locked the door until he needed to go "POTTY" and we needed a new game. I usually keep a key in Tate's room just in case of emergencies like this, but I happened to take it out earlier this week. So, Bryan thought quickly and turned the door stopper into a key. SMART MAN! Anyhow, we finally got out after about 15 minutes of trying.
I guess that's what we get for turning Tate's lock around!!!

Our "New" Bathroom!

I'm a really SLOW painter, because I'm such a perfectionist. But I still think it's fun especially with good results like this!
