Spook-Alley

Bryan's Family has a Spook-Alley every year! All of the neighborhood kids get together and paint refrigerator boxes to depict a particular scene. Then they all dress up and act it out. They charge 25 cents to go through, and then they donate the $ to charity. I think it's really cool how hard everyone works on the whole thing and how it always turns out so fun!

Tate was really excited to go through until he stepped into the first room. There was a scary looking old man, who Tate thought was "Santa Claus". At that point he totally wanted to go back out!!!
He was completely "freaked out" until he saw Sarah. He got really scared again when we got to the graveyard! Then, someone gave him candy-so that helped.
He wasn't quite sure about Elmo's operation and especially the doctors who were doing it.
He was very happy to see Grandma Stradling when he came out!Amazingly after all the scares, he wanted to go through again...
This time, he was a little less scared!

New Discovery

I'm SO EXCITED because I just found out that the magnets that I make work perfectly with a dry erase marker. So, I made up some magnets with Tate's morning and evening routines on them. When he has finished the job, he can cross it off!!! So far, HE LOVES IT.

Cousins Party

We had a little Halloween Party for all the Manning cousins on Thursday!
Here they are from left to right: Lily (Hello Kitty Princess), Anson (Pinocchio), Tate (Dinosaur), Rebecca (Blue Fairy from Pinnochio), Emma (Kitty), Peter (Dragon)
It's soooooooooooooo hard to get a GOOD picture of Tate, especially when he's in a costume. But, I finally got these two which I think turned out pretty cute.

Fun with Panoramics

My Brother in Law Joseph introduced me to autostitch. You can get it for free HERE
Basically, you take a ton of pics, and autostitch "stiches" them together automatically.
The top picture is the view of the Superstitions from our home. The bottom pic is our backyard.

5 Little Pumpkins

I made some magnetic pumpkins for Tate to play with on his board. He loves singing the Pumpkin song over and over again! I love that he's so easy to entertain.

Fridge Make-Over

I'm in the process of giving my fridge a new magnetic make-over!
I figured that the front of the fridge is wasted space, and why not display all of my scrapbook pages there?
So, I'm making 4"x4" waterproof magnets of all of my scrapbook pages.
I use a material that's similar to car magnet material with a laminate on top. I think the fridge magnets turned out pretty cool,
what do you think?
I think it would be AWESOME to cover the whole fridge someday!

I can't stop eating Cinnamon Rolls!

I stayed up REALLY LATE last night making these cinnamon rolls-just for fun.

So now, we're ALL piging out eating em.

I had one for breakfast and one for lunch. I'll try and not have one for dinner too ;)

Please, someone take them away from me...
Disclaimer: You have to come all the way to my house to get them

My Birthday Gift

Isn't this just the cutest little puppy you ever saw?
He's going to be ours on Saturday (my birthday), & I'm SO EXCITED!
He was born on September 1st, so he's only 5 weeks old. He's a pure bred Jack Russell. It's going to be great to have our very first dog!!!

Pumpkin Painting and Cookie Decorating

My Mom came over the other day and "played" with Mr. T! It was great, and like always Mr. T loved it-as did I ... Here he is with his pumpkin and very CHEESY smile.

Fun Party with Friends!

Before Bryan's mission, he worked at Brown and Brown Chevrolet in downtown Mesa, and made quite a few friends there. Anyways, they've all stayed in contact with each other which is AWESOME. So, he invited them over to our house to have ME make Mexican Food for everyone-YIKES!

So, the party was on Thursday. It was really fun and amazingly the food turned out :) We had tortilla soup, beans, rice, and tacquitos.

The guys had lots of fun playing Wii!
Here's some pics of them boxing. It was pretty hilarious watching them!!!

Bryan and Curtis

Donovan and Matt

Here's a picture of most of the kids. This picture was really hard to get!

Little People

This is one of the many things that we inherited when Bryan's Grandma passed away a few years ago. I just found it in the attic recently! Mr. T loves playing with it now. I can remember playing "little people" when I was growing up, and loving it! Does anyone else remember playing this?

Proof that Mr. Tate is a Good Mix
