We've had our Christmas Tree up since Tuesday! I just couldn't wait until AFTER thanksgiving :) Only one strand of working lights-who cares! The lights don't even cover the whole tree-who cares! No ribbon-who cares! In years past I've been such a perfectionist in decorating for Christmas. I don't know why but this year I could really care less. It's a tree, and we had fun decorating it, what else matters?
Amen! I feel like a lot of people go overboard with Christmas decorations-new ones every year, which is fun, but it's just as fun going simple! My mom's had the same decorations and tree since I can remember and I think one of the best things about Christmas is making memories and reliving old ones! Her tree will always be the coolest to me! Yay for Christmas, music, cookies, and presents! I can't wait!
