We went to the Mesa Public Library today. When we got there-Mr Tate (who always knows just what he wants) asked the librarian for a book about YEAST. He told her that he wants to learn ALL about it and where it comes from. You can imagine his disappointment when she told him that they don't have books for children about yeast. Although slightly bummed, Tate was NOT going to give up on finding a book that suited his interest. So he asked her to help him find some books about bacteria and fungus-which she did... As you can tell from the picture, Tate was absolutely THRILLED to be able to see pictures of some "Real Life" bacteria.Monday, July 13, 2009
Day 195-Yeast, Bacteria and Fungus

I loved how Tate was giving my girls a biology lesson in the store today. So funny how they talked about germs and bacteria. They were sounding all smart and stuff.
