Bath Time

Samuel sure LOVES his baths. There are never any complaints from him when he's in the water. I think that I equally enjoy his bath time.

He is just chubby and too cute!!!

Wrestling

What little boy doesn't LOVE wrestling with his daddy? Tate enjoys it so much, he is trying to make it a daily ritual.

Uh Oh!!!

Samuel has discovered how to stick his entire fist in his mouth to suck on it. He's been doing it a lot recently. When I saw him doing it earlier today, I quickly traded it for his pacifier. Next thing I knew his pacifier was out and the hand was back in. It must taste a lot better.

Cuteness

I love dressing my baby up cute!

Playing House

Tate loves to play house with his shells (and other toys).

No Shoes

The other day I drove Tate to school. As he was getting out of the car I noticed that he wasn't wearing any shoes... We ended up having to go back home to get them (the nurse didn't have any-we checked). The funny thing is that he hadn't even noticed. In fact I'm pretty sure that he would have gotten all the way to his classroom before noticing.
Reminds me of the time (a few months ago) when Tate came home from school and noticed that he was wearing 3 pairs of underwear!!! Instead of changing them in the morning, he had accidentally put two pairs on top of the other ones and he hadn't noticed until after school!!!
Tate is one of a kind, that's for sure!

Reflection

Sam discovered himself in the mirror today.

Serious.

Samuel is a very serious baby. He's happy and content, rarely cries, and gives this look most of the time. Isn't he getting so tall?!? At his two month doctors appointment he was 25 inches long. That's off the charts!

Grandma Margaret's House

The boys LOVE going to my Mom's house. She spoils them and gives them individual attention every time... Like going on the swing around with Tate and playing the clavinova with Samuel.

Loving my Baby!

Sunday Morning

I know that I say it over and over, but how I love them!!!

3 Months

Samuel is 3 months old today. How fast time goes!!!
We brought him in to Urgent Care this evening because he's been screaming pretty much non stop since Friday night. We found out that he has double ear infections and his right ear is actually ruptured. The doctor prescribed some antibiotics. Hopefully he gets better soon. I feel so bad for him!

Harlem Globe Trotters

We went to see the Harlem Globe Trotters play last night and had a blast! Tate got to meet the players and sit with them for the first part of the game. After the game was over I asked Tate if he thought they were funny... He said "were they?"

Fire pit

We borrowed Bryans parent's fire pit tonight and roasted marshmallows on sticks. It was fun!

Family Silhouettes

I made some silhouettes of our family today using THIS tutorial.

Sam's New Trick

Samuel learned how to roll over today. I put him on his tummy for some "tummy time" and next thing I knew he had rolled onto his back. I thought maybe it was a coincidence, so I placed him on his tummy again... Same thing! He rolled right over again onto his back. Go Sam!

Smiling Sam

Proof that he does smile.

Flag Football

Tate had his 1st flag football game this morning. He played center most of the game. It was cute watching him out there... He had his legs so far apart... it almost looked like he was doing the splits. Ha/Ha.

Baby Sam

I can't get enough of this little guy. He couldn't be any more perfect!

Pink Scarf

I did a little sewing today using THIS tutorial and a bit of scrap material... I thought it was cute... until Bryan told me that he thinks it looks similar to Ron Weasley's dress robes. LOL! Now I'm starting to wonder:)

Acid Reflux

Sam only nursed about a week... I was sad to stop, but happy knowing that he was getting enough food:) No more hospital visits on a count of dehydration! He's on soy formula due to the spitting up and pain that accompanies milk based. I'm guessing that he has acid reflux like Tate did when he was a baby. Same symptoms...
Update Jan 8th: I brought Samuel to the doctor's today. Sure enough he was diagnosed with Acid Reflux and was put on Zantac.

Angie Dog

I'm not the only girl in the family anymore... Tate got a DOG for Christmas. He named her Angel, but we call her Angie. She's about two years old and is a Rhodesian Ridge-back/Boxer Mix. She's a pretty good dog (mostly potty trained) but she needs some training (like learning to NOT dig in my garden). Angie is really sweet and her favorite thing to do is to follow me around the house all day long.

Cloth Diapers and Pinwheel Mobile

Check out those CHUNKY thighs! Proof that he's our baby... Samuel reminds me so much of Tate when he was that age. Today is my first day of using cloth diapers. I'm so excited about it! My sister in law-Andrea gave me some for my shower and I'm finally getting around to using them. We'll see how it goes!
Here's Samuel checking out his cool pinwheel mobile. I made it before he was born following this picture. I knew that he would LOVE it, and he does!

Gingerbread House Attack

Tate broke out the butter knife and began attacking his ginger bread house! Yum!

New Year's Hike 2011

It's kind of a tradition for us... Hiking on New Year's Day! We went to South Mountain. It was a short simple hike with a new baby and a new dog.

Sparkler Fun

Fireworks are now legal in Arizona!!! Yeah! The funny thing is... I've never even done sparklers myself... but I opted to take pictures of Tate doing them instead.
