Jammin' Again

I've been making strawberry jam all week, both freezer and cooked!

I bought two flats, and have been working endlessly to finish before they all ROT.

It's been FUN though.

The plants are tiny right now, but their growing fast. Tate's favorite are the sweet peas (or pea balls) as he calls them.

Easter-2007

Easter was a fun day!

Like I've said before, Easter's my FAVORITE HOLIDAY. I just love to celebrate the Resurrection, and I love Easter Baskets and Hunting Eggs, etc. The Easter Bunny brought Tate a bunch of "Cars" stuff-which he ADORED!!

Easter Pageant

We went to the Easter Pageant last night with Tad and his wife Jezica. It was really fun, and just a little crazy with Tate. But, we had a REALLY good time. I have so many memories of the Easter Pageant... When I was 10 or 11, my family was in the pageant. It was a really neat experience. My brother Thomas was 2 or 3 at the time, he thought that the man who played the part of Jesus was really Jesus. His name was Mike. I remember that everytime Thomas prayed he would say, "Dear Heavenly Mike." It was really cute.

Another memory is when Bryan and I were first married, we lived in a little apartment not too far from the Temple grounds. Every year we would be able to clearly hear the Easter Pageant from anywhere in our house.

We've tried to make it a TRADITION to go to the Easter Pageant every year. I can't say that we have, but we've done pretty good.

Yesterday was "Mom & Tate day!"

We had lots of FUN all day long!

We started off by slip n' sliding in the backyard. This has got to be one of Tate's VERY FAVORITE things to do.

And yes, I did it with him, and the water wasn't even cold!



Then we played playdoe. Tate made "pretend cookies."

After that, we painted Easter Eggs! Tate did a very good job. He liked painting but didn't like getting his hands dirty!

It was a very fun day.
