Gone but not Forgotten

4 1/2 years ago a new tree was planted...

It grew quickly, and Tate enjoyed hanging from its branches! Then one day, it froze in a winter storm and died. Tate was sad!
Our homeowners Association gave us word that we would have to remove our poor dead tree. Tate watched with dissapointment as Dad cut down "his" tree. Now it is gone, but never forgotten!

  2. They actually told us to replant another one. We are hoping to wait till after summer when it will be better to plant. I'm not quite sure what kind we will be able to plant. We'll see.

  3. What kind of tree was it? And did you like it? Or do you think that you're going to get a different kind?

  4. It was a ficus nidida (I have no idea how to spell it). I really liked it while it was alive, but I've heard that like 1/2 of the ficus trees in the valley froze this last winter... so I think we'll definetely get another kind, maybe an ash.
