Photoshop Actions and a Visit with Some Friends

I got to spend the majority of the day with one of my very best friends named Faith. She has an adorable baby named Autumn who is almost 5 months old. Tate enjoys when they come over because it's almost like having a baby sister for him.

I snapped a few pictures of them. I don't know what it is about this picture of Tate holding Autumn, but I just adore it! He really wasn't trying to choke her. I guess he just needs a little more practice.

Autumn is a little doll. She's so beautiful!

Tate wanted to push Autumn the whole way to the park. Since he couldn't see over the top of the stroller, he kept pushing her into the grass, and he wasn't afraid to go really fast. We kept having to slow him down.

So now it's really late and I'm still awake playing with some Photoshop Actions that I found. You can download them for free HERE. I think it makes a big difference in the pictures...

Late Night Game

Last night was fun. We had Faith & Jon over and stayed up way late playing the Cash Flow Game. We played for over 2 hours and finally called it quits when we were all yawning and couldn't keep our eyes open any longer. Bryan walked them down to their car and I was completely OUT sleeping on the couch by the time he came back. I so don't even remember getting into bed last night...

We've been drinking Mona Vie juice lately, and I totally blame my recent good sleeping habits on it. Seriously, I used to lay in bed for hours and not be able to fall asleep. Now I'm out in literally minutes. It's awesome!

So Blessed!!!

Bryan's business has been pretty slow lately with the economy (It's hard for people to get any kind of pool loan right now). He's been looking for another job-which means that he's had lots and lots of time to spend with us!

Besides the financial stress of living from day to day, I really am so grateful for the time that we've had to spend together. It is truly amazing getting to wake up together in the morning. Throughout our marriage of almost 8 years, I can't say that we've ever been able to wake up at the same time until now (at least on a regular basis or without me having to wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning). Tate has also been enjoying having his Daddy around more... I know that all things happen for a reason, and yes even though it can be scary at times not knowing what the future has in store... I know that God knows all things and that he has something wonderful just for us. So, while we are waiting I am enjoying.

Top TEN things we've been up to lately...

1. Saying goodbye to our house in Gold Canyon



2. Moving to a "stair house" as Tate calls it (aka apartment)




3. Tate starting Preschool



4. Cutting my leg and getting 7 stitches the day after moving



5. Buying a brand new 2 piece sectional couch at an auction for $700 (We figure that they are normally around $2800




6. Throwing a shower for a friend on the same day as moving (terrible planning on my part, but we pulled it off)



7. Painting the living room in the apartment blue (The same color as the master bedroom in our Gold Canyon house)



8. Going to our new ward for the first time (I'm so excited that I already know 3 people!)



9. Enjoying being close to EVERYTHING! I can seriously get so much done in just one day now. It used to take me an entire afternoon to go grocery shopping (an hour in driving alone), now that we are literally 2 minutes from Fry's it takes no time at all.



10. Having more time to play with Tate-visiting our new library, playing at the playground, feeding the ducks in the lake here, painting/crafts etc.
