- Saying goodbye to our house in Gold Canyon
- Moving to a "stair house" as Tate calls it (aka apartment)
- Tate starting Preschool
- Cutting my leg and getting 7 stitches the day after moving
- Buying a brand new 2 piece sectional couch at an auction for $700 (We figure that they are normally around $2800
- Throwing a shower for a friend on the same day as moving (terrible planning on my part, but we pulled it off)
- Painting the living room in the apartment blue (The same color as the master bedroom in our Gold Canyon house)
- Going to our new ward for the first time (I'm so excited that I already know 3 people!)
- Enjoying being close to EVERYTHING! I can seriously get so much done in just one day now. It used to take me an entire afternoon to go grocery shopping (an hour in driving alone), now that we are literally 2 minutes from Fry's it takes no time at all.
- Having more time to play with Tate-visiting our new library, playing at the playground, feeding the ducks in the lake here, painting/crafts etc.
Yeah! comments again! We already mis you! how did the shower go, I missed the gifts. did she get a lot of things she needed? It turned out so cute.

ReplyDeleteHey Maria! I'm glad I can finally leave a comment! I just wanted to say that you guys are already missed out here! :( I hope we can still see you around! I'm jealous too that you no longer have to drive so far to get places! It sounds like things are going well, except for the nasty cut on your leg - ouch! I hope it heals quickly! Oh and I got to see Faith with her new baby yesterday at church - she is so precious! You are an awesome friend to have thrown her that shower! I'm bummed that I had to miss it!

Holy cow, so sorry about your leg. You are such a trooper! I can honestly say that anyone who pulls off a shower and moves in the same day is amazing!
