The Family: A Proclamation to the World - Paragraph 1

Due to current events, I've been feeling a great need for our family to study and learn from the Family a Proclamation to the World. We are planning on learning about a paragraph at a time during our weekly Family Home Evenings, and then reciting that paragraph throughout the week at daily scripture study in hopes of memorizing it.

As a youth, I can remember being challenged to learn it. I accepted that challenge and was surprised at my ability to remember it. Throughout the days, certain phrases would pop into my head and I felt a great strength from knowing the principles within. Well, it's been over 10 years now since I memorized it, and I can still remember a little bit but not nearly as much as I'd like to. So, I figure that it's time for me to re-memorize it...

I just wanted to challenge anyone who wants to, to learn it along with us. I know that it will be a lot to remember, so to make it easier, I'm going to be making a scrapbook page with pictures and key words for each paragraph to help the visual learners like myself. Each week during FHE, we are planning on using those scrapbook pages to teach Tate about what each paragraph means. It's always easier for the kids to memorize something that makes sense to them.

So if you want to use them to learn from, feel free to either use my scrapbook pages to represent a family, or you can make your very own personalized scrapbook for your family.

I'm really excited about this project!

If you decide to make your own pages, I'd love to see what you come up with.
