We decided to take advantage of "Wild Wednesday" today at the Phoenix Zoo. I'm all about getting in free even if it is 100 degrees outside. My sister Christina, baby Craig, cousin Allyssa, and new friend Jessica all came along.
Yes, that's my little Tate running through the splash pad with his clothes and tennis shoes on... We DID bring his swim suit with us, but I've become such a LAZY mom that instead of taking the time to help him change, I TOLD him that he could just go play in his clothes. I did get some dirty looks from other Moms, but honestly I could care less. He was practically dry when we left the zoo 20 minutes later anyways:)
So get this... Jessica lives in Washington State where my brother Thomas (Elder Manning) is currently serving a mission. She was recently baptized (by him) and she is here in Arizona visiting until next Wednesday. It was totally fun getting to hang out with her today!

Since the zoo closed early (at 2 PM), we decided to go hang out at the AZ Science Center afterward (gotta love the yearly membership). There was hardly anyone there, so that was awesome. We really got to enjoy some of the exhibits that are usually packed. We played for a LONG time with the "Warp Your Image" exhibit.
We stayed at the Science Center all afternoon, came home, ate Salmon with green onions/garlic and freshly squeezed lemon (Tate's all time favorite meal), read some stories, talked for a while, sang a good night song and that was it for Mr. Tate (he was exhausted and out before 7:30). Bryan went to mutual, so I've been sitting here in a quiet house... but now the dishes are calling me. Arrgh. I guess I better do some work before today is over.

The AZ Science center is cool! Our work is doing a project right now to enclose the entry walkway courtyard with air conditioning and lighting.
