General Conference weekend was really awesome! We stayed home as a family and crowding around our little computer to listen to the words of our church leaders. (Most people watch it on TV, but would you believe that we don't get any channels on our TV-and I LOVE it except for at Conference time). I enjoyed every single one of the talks. My very favorites were President Monson's talk on service and Elder Holland's amazing testimony of the Book of Mormon. Tate was really fascinated by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the organ, and all of the pipes. He listened here and there to some of the talks, but when the music started his ears perked up and he was all into it.
We have the same problem with our TV! Our TV mysteriously stopped getting any channels earlier this year... Someone said something about digital format... ;)
ReplyDeleteFaith's brother in Florida wired the audio and video output of his computer to their TV so they could watch the online video feed without crowding their family around the small computer screen. I think we might have to do something like this in Houston (or just go to the stake center)!
