My Father-in-Law (Keith) was called as the new BISHOP in his ward, and it was announced in their Sacrament Meeting today. All of the immediate family (except for Andrea who is on her mission) and many extended family members were able to be there (for the sustaining and setting apart), so that was awesome!
Keith & Dianna invited us (their children/spouses) over to their home Saturday evening where they told us the news. But somebody forgot to tell Grandma Bloomfield about the calling. She was invited to their ward's Sacrament Meeting, but apparently didn't know why she was there. She must have thought it was to see Natalie in the Primary Presentation (which happened to be today as well). Let's just say Grandma was a little surprised when Keith was announced as the new Bishop! At least it was a good surprise:)
Wow! That's really funny, because my dad was just called to be bishop in his ward, recently... and they are in the same stake! haha :)
