I think that I'm officially ADDICTED to Family History Work! Ever since I was just a little girl, I've loved doing geneology stuff (reading family histories, figuring out who's who, etc). When I was eight years old, my grandparents made me my first "Family History Book". It included pedigrees, pictures, histories, and all kinds of interesting things. From that moment on, I have loved learning about and studying my ancestors lives.
Tuesday night, I had this urge to do some work. I seriously stayed up till 1 AM and woke up at 5 AM to do more. Then, I continued working on it on Wednesday. There's still a TON to do!
What's happening to me?
You are crazy! I don't know how you can do anything while operating on that much sleep. But you're going to have to show me how to do some family history stuff. I had an Activity Day about a month ago and we talked about family history and tried to have the girls look up an ancestor's name online. Since then I've been interested in doing some work, but I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing. Have you been using the church site: familysearch.org?
ReplyDeleteHey Maria,
ReplyDeleteI think it's called the Spirit of Elijah. ;) That's awesome. I've been feelingthe urge too. In fact, my sister and I are starting a business doing family history consultations. We interview, transcribe, edit, add photos and publish people's personal histories. We're just getting started, but it's absolutely awesome. I'm telling you (or maybe I should be telling Armando more) I think we'd be great neighbors!
Take care!
Daisy
Ah, I'm SOOOOO like this. Once I get going, it's hard to stop. I've been hopping graveyards (looking for family stones) and asking questions since I was a girl.
