Since there was no school for Tate today... We all got to sleep in, until 8:00. Yeah! Tate did his chores as quick as possible so that he could play the wii. That's basically how it is now days. Tate is completely obsessed with Mario Galaxy and it's what he wants to be doing constantly. I figured since it's a holiday I'd let him play a little more than usual. I am going to have to come up with some kind of time chart for him though. Seriously this kid would spend the entire day playing "Mario" if I let him. Monday, January 19, 2009
Day 19-Playing the Wii
Since there was no school for Tate today... We all got to sleep in, until 8:00. Yeah! Tate did his chores as quick as possible so that he could play the wii. That's basically how it is now days. Tate is completely obsessed with Mario Galaxy and it's what he wants to be doing constantly. I figured since it's a holiday I'd let him play a little more than usual. I am going to have to come up with some kind of time chart for him though. Seriously this kid would spend the entire day playing "Mario" if I let him.

He must truly be his daddy's son. One of the things that my mom did growing up was having us earn play money chips. Then we could use our money to buy something from her "black box." One of the things in the box was Nintendo time chips. So you could buy 15 minute time chips so you could play on the Nintendo. I think that the boys almost always bought the time chips. This method was just one of the things that my mom tried, but probably the one that we remember the most.
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny because I have two little boys here who your post sounds like. They got one for Christmas this year. I never knew how much they would do just to play the wii. Chores? no problem. Schoolwork? no problem. Feed the pets? Again, no problem.
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't want to play SUPER MARIO GALAXY its the best game ever. Also I'm holding the record for stars in my family. 125 to be exact.
