I have no idea what it is about my left knee... But when I bump it, I almost always pass out. Last night it happened again. Bryan wasn't home and Tate was asleep, I was at the computer and I turned in my chair and bumped my knee on the side of the desk. For a minute there, I thought that I would be able to make it without passing out. Then I realized that I better put my head down on the desk just in case. It's a good thing I did because I did pass out. When I came to, it took me a second to figure out who I was and where I was. Then I remembered about Bryan and Tate. I managed to find my phone and leave a message with Bryan. Then I went to search for Tate. I found him in his bed (of course). I laid down beside him and he immediately woke up. I told him that Mommy passed out. He was so sweet and went and got me a drink of water. Then I waited for Bryan to come home and pamper me some more.
Maria,
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I read your post about your knee pain, the first thing that popped into my head was "Osgood-Slaughters Disease" or an alternate spelling of "Osgood-Schlatter Disease".
I had never heard of it before marrying David, but he had it as a kid, as did some of his brothers. But they grew out of it. David discribed the pain as more severe then a full blow groin kick, with the slightest tap to his knee (just below his knee cap).
It may be something totally different, but I just thought I'd tell you, in case you ever wanted to inquire about it with a physician.
